Undefeated and unstoppable, the Bathgate co-ed volleyball team topped off a perfect season with a championship victory. Combining their talent, teamwork and determination this team never dropped a match. This championship title wasn’t just expected, they earned it through months of hard work and unity on the court.
In the season of intense battles against strong teams, Bathgate has powered through all matches and ended the season with not only bringing home the chip, but also a clean 9-0 record. Finishing the season Undefeated!

Coach Ramos, who finished her first year of coaching with a huge win, said, “It feels great. It feels amazing, I’m so proud and happy to bring home the championship.”
This pride was shared throughout the entire team. Moments reflected back to the teammates as they thought about the long hard practices that they dedicated their time to. The hard work finally paid off. The team managed to bring back the chip after having to forfeit the entire season last year due to the boys participating in the boys PSAL volleyball season! Many struggled with their mentality during the match.

The team’s captain, Jariel Quezada, admitted, “Something I could’ve done better is vocalizing myself.”
But even with all that, they pushed through and kept playing strong. Reflecting on the win, Jariel said, “Game ain’t over until it’s over.”
